Don’t Take a Chance With Your Future

Women, it’s a fact that most of us will live longer than our husbands. And those of you who are single, this applies to you as well. We need to know how to handle our finances.

In her book, Women Take Charge of Your Money, Carolyn Castleberry brings to the forefront how important it is for us to take charge of our finances, which in turn will give us the freedom to live without financial constraints and to see what God can acomplish through us.

Applying scripture throughout, Castleberry, gives practical suggestions on how to achieve financial success in order to be financially independent.

Money is a God given tool to be used not only to provide for our needs, but to invest in our future and the future of others.

“Nowhere does the Lord promise that we’ll all be millionaires; we will succeed only according to His will for our lives. That’s a sure thing.”

Ladies, it’s time to pay attention, to learn about finances, to learn about investing; managing money is something we’ll have to deal with for the rest of our lives.

Be Prepared!

The Financially Confident Woman is more than just a book of information on how you got into debt and how to get out. It’s about being prepared.

As we grow older, which we will unless Jesus comes or He comes and gets us, we need to be able to support ourselves and not be dependent on others.

The fact is, that most women outlive their husbands. Knowing about money and how to use it wisely will be to your advantage.

Savings, investing, planning for the future is vitally important.

I know older couples who have to rely on their grown children to help them financially due to poor/no planning. That’s a little scary to me.

Reading Mary Hunt’s book gets you thinking about how important, especially in the younger years, to plan for the unexpected and for the future.
